Watton Produce, suppliers of quality vegetables regained confidence in their floor after turning to National Flooring for help. The area used to wash the produce was a concrete finish that had worn so badly the aggregates were showing through. The area, which is consistently wet offered no slip resistance and became a hazard.
Following a site survey National Flooring were confident they had the perfect solution for the problem and recommended the Degafloor FB system. Ideally suited to the food industry the seamless system is broadcast with quartz and aggregates to ensure the highest degree of slip resistance is maintained.
Due to the condition of the concrete National Flooring installed a scrape coat to level the floor before installing the slip resistant finish. The quick cure time of the system guarantees that the area can be put back to full production 2 hours after installation. The installation was completed overnight to allow production to resume as normal the next morning.
Following the success of the installation National Flooring were asked to return and give advice on additional problem areas.
