> reactive resins

The difference is clear...

What is a reactive resin?

Put simply, a reactive resin system takes constituent components that chemically react when mixed to form a hard wearing and durable final product.

The alternatives...

There are three main resin based flooring systems marketed in the UK:

All have particular strengths and limitations, but The National Flooring Company Ltd has chosen to offer only Degafloor® Resin Systems (methyl methacrylate), unless very high temperatures will be encountered, in which case a polyurethane system will be offered. This decision is based on years of experience of all flooring systems and the strong evidence regarding which system is the best suited to today's industrial and heavy commercial installations.

Degafloor® versus the rest...

  Degafloor® Polyurethane Epoxy
Cure times
UV light stability
Aesthetic choice
Hygienic finish
Anti-slip properties
Thermal resistance

With a Degafloor® system, the above benefits can be achieved with installation temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees C, whereas epoxy and polyurethane systems require higher temperatures to cure and so cannot be installed at low temperatures.
