RESYN takes the SAFE option

commercial flooring resin safecontractor round RGB (2)-c8c10a29With health and safety issues becoming an increasing concern, RESYN decided to demonstrate their commitment to Health & Safety by joining SAFEcontractor.

RESYN is one of the latest groups of successful companies to join the leading edge scheme, designed to help industry improve its safety record. The Peterborough based firm recently achieved Accreditation from SAFEcontractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst contractors.

RESYN, which is principally involved in the specialist installation of quick curing resin flooring solutions, decided to join the scheme to demonstrate the company’s ability to adhere to all the necessary requirements by Health and Safety legislation. To gain accreditation RESYN had to undergo a strict vetting process, which thoroughly examines the company’s health and safety procedures and track record of Health & Safety practices.

SAFEcontractor is applicable to most sectors, although it is particularly relevant to food manufacture, property, facilities management, retail and leisure sectors, all of which RESYN have extensive experience.

Anna Simpson, Marketing manager for RESYN comments, “We were already a member of CHAS, another accreditation scheme for Health and Safety compliance and due to customer demand decided to join SAFEcontractor also. We are always keen to demonstrate our commitment towards Health and Safety legislation. We often work with main contractors who have strict health and safety polices and questionnaires and gaining accreditation to both of these schemes can help to reassure our customers that RESYN has achieved the highest standards.”
