We’re excited to announce that the RESYN Company have been recognised for its exceptional work on past industrial kitchen flooring installations.
The Resin Flooring Association, FeRFA, which holds an annual award ceremony to highlight and celebrate the expertise and professionalism within the resin flooring industry, is due to hold the 2015 awards on 27th November at the Belfry Hotel.
The award categories, including large and small projects of the year are designed to demonstrate supplier/contractor excellence within each category field. RESYN’s efforts for 2015 have been suitably rewarded by being shortlisted for two of the six categories, including for industrial kitchen flooring solutions.
The installation of a resin floor in to the new manufacturing facility at the RNLI’s Headquarters in Poole was chosen for the Large Industrial Project of the Year. The new facility, totalling 5,300m2, was designed to incorporate the production of new boats and provide a maintenance facility to repair existing boats. It is one of the biggest investment projects in RNLI history therefore every aspect of this project had to be expertly managed.
Although a relatively easy project in terms of installation, the amount of pre-contract consultation and negotiation required was considerable. Due to the scale of the project and the nature of the charity, there were a large number of stakeholders involved therefore substantial pre-contract liaison was required to establish full buy-in and confidence in product and project management capabilities of RESYN. The project, which was originally tendered in 2012, was completed in December 2014.
The resin floor installation within the industrial kitchen/commercial kitchens at 5* luxury Browns Hotel was chosen for the Small Commercial Project of the Year. The industrial kitchen development project was relatively small in size, but it was complex due to the age of the building, the location and its illustrious reputation.
RESYN proved its ability to provide a highly focused service, specifically designed with the protection of its customer at the forefront. It also highlighted the company’s ability to provide an expertly planned and efficiently managed industrial kitchen installation within a potentially highly volatile environment.
Whilst RESYN provides a consistently high level of customer service to all clients it has been noticeably rewarded this year through the satisfaction of its customers who have been vocal in their gratitude.
Having previously won an award for the small project of the year in 2013 and being shortlisted again is a testament to the way in which RESYN continue to approach and undertake any project, regardless of the size. The company’s hardworking values and excellence in the application of resin flooring and industrial kitchen flooring installations continue to be recognised, not only by its customers but also by industry experts.
