The Resin Flooring Association, FeRFA, which holds an annual award ceremony to highlight and celebrate the expertise and professionalism within the resin flooring industry is due to hold the 2011 awards on 18thNovember at the Belfry Hotel.
The award categories include contractor of the year, trainer of the year, environmental initiative of the year as well as large and small project of the year. Each award is designed to demonstrate supplier/contractor excellence within each category field.
Throughout 2011, RESYN has completed a number of projects which highlight the company’s experience and expertise in resin flooring solutions; however one of the most prestigious was factory floor installation for designer shoe company Gina. Due to continued expansion, Gina was relocating to larger premises and needed to transform a run down warehouse into a stylish, production/office facility. From the onset the client had made it clear that the project fit out was to be to an extremely high standard.
The factory floor refurbishment project, which was in excess of 3,000sqm, has been nominated for the FeRFA large project of the year award. The judges review each project and the contractor’s ability to provide excellent workmanship, diversity, innovation and commitment to quality, all of which were clearly demonstrated throughout this project. As a result RESYN has been shortlisted for the award and hopes to become a winner in recognition for the outstanding work displayed at each stage of this development.
Winners are to be announced at the award ceremony on 18th November 2011.
